Tania Banotti is the director of Creative Ireland. An ambitious program that works toward enabling all people in Ireland to realize their full creative potential.
Tania takes us through the programm. You’ll hear about different governmental departments working together. She has a very hollistic view and is able to dream big but with realistic nuances.
‘We asked the 170 Irish education Inspectors to include arts and creativity in their school visits. For example, to ask the head teacher of a school: Where does creativity live in this school, show me some examples of how you are being creative? And at the same time, not let it be another thing to tick. We believe, like the old saying: what get’s measured gets valued, this can have big impact’.
